Day 1: Nairobi

After breakfast, at 0600hrs, our representative will transfer you to Nairobi National park where you will have a morning game drive. At around 1100hrs you will visit The David Sheldrick National Wildlife Trust. This is an orphan-elephant rescue organization, devoted to conserving East Africa’s wildlife and habitats. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick in honor of her late husband and famous Warden of Tsavo East National Park, David Sheldrick, the trust is one of the most successful elephant and rhino rescue programs in the world.

You will continue forward with your tour to the giraffe Centre. This centre protects the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, combines serious conservation with enjoyable activities. You can observe, hand-feed or even kiss one of the giraffes from a raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience. You may also spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud, and there’s an interesting self-guided forest walk through the adjacent Gogo River Bird Sanctuary.

Board your van and continue to Karen Blixen Museum. If you loved the movie Out of Africa, you’ll love this place. This museum is the farmhouse where author Karen Blixen lived between 1914 and 1931. She left after a series of personal tragedies, but the lovely colonial house has been preserved as a museum. The museum is set in expansive gardens, and is an interesting place to wander around After the tour have a sumptuous dinner at the carnivore restaurant, renowned worldwide for serving the most range of meats even game meat such as Ostrich and Crocodile cuts

You will be transferred to Bomas of Kenya to have late lunch and cultural dance. You will later be transferred to your hotel.

 

Day 2: Nairobi

After Breakfast, our representative will meet you and you will depart for a city tour of Nairobi. You will get to visit places like the Nairobi Arboretum, our biggest Campus, the Nairobi University, and Norfolk Hotel. Historically, the Norfolk was “The Place” for starting safaris as way back in 1904, the Kenya Conservatoire of Music and the National Theater, book shops and publishers, Former American Embassy which is now a memorial place, the Railway Station, the Railway Museum and the Kenya Railways Headquarters. You will also drive directly to Nairobi hill viewpoint from where you have a panoramic view of the city. You will proceed to “Gods corner”, significant for the number of different churches situated in this area. You will also visit the KICC and view the city from its roof top.

You will later be transferred to the paintball fury at Purdy Arms, for a great paint balling experience.

You will later be transferred to The Hub Karen for late lunch.

The rest of the day will be spent at leisure. Later you will be transferred to your hotel
