Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Depending on the timings of your international flight, on arrival at JKIA, our representative will meet you and do some introduction and briefs, Later you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening you will have dinner, music and entertainment at Carnivore Restaurant, which is among the top 100 Restaurants in the World. Later you will be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight will be at Wildebeest eco Camp Nairobi.

 

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Magadi

After breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Magadi via Magadi road. You will have a stop at Olorgesailie pre-historic museum for site seeing on the excavations and tools used by early man. Drive to the Lake view point: Hike and view the lake. Bird watching at the bird’s rock Drive to the hot springs; you can bath and dip yourself in the hot massaging water. The hot springs serve as a key attraction to many visitors to Magadi. This is a natural basin curved depression on the ground with bubbling hot waters. The water is believed to have medicinal value to the skin curing ailments such as skin rushes, pimples and acne, dry skin conditions and also helps in strengthening the bones in the body. A late evening or early morning bath is a thrilling massage-like, best experience one can have.

Drive to the sports club for lunch. Relax and cool off the heat; you may shower/swim. In the evening you will drive back to Nairobi. You will have Dinner at Masai Lodge

Overnight will be at Wildebeest eco Camp Nairobi.

 

Day 3: Nairobi

At around 1030hrs you will visit The David Sheldrick National Wildlife Trust. This is an orphan-elephant rescue organization, devoted to conserving East Africa’s wildlife and habitats. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick in honor of her late husband and famous Warden of Tsavo East National Park, David Sheldrick, the trust is one of the most successful elephant and rhino rescue programs in the world.

You will proceed with your tour to the giraffe Centre. This centre protects the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, combines serious conservation with enjoyable activities. You can observe, hand-feed or even kiss one of the giraffes from a raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience. You may also spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud, and there’s an interesting self-guided forest walk through the adjacent Gogo River Bird Sanctuary. You will also visit Mat Bronze for shopping and viewing. Matbronze has one of the largest display of wildlife bronzes in Africa. Over six hundred pieces, ranging from cuff-links to life size crocodiles. From cute cub footprints to large lion track trays. You will have a stop at Kazuri beads for shopping and viewing.

Board your van and continue to Karen Blixen Museum. You will have lunch here. If you loved the movie Out of Africa, you’ll love this place. This museum is the farmhouse where author Karen Blixen lived between 1914 and 1931. She left after a series of personal tragedies, but the lovely colonial house has been preserved as a museum. The museum is set in expansive gardens, and is an interesting place to wander around after the tour.

Later you will visit Mamba Village. Mamba Village Nairobi Crocodile Farm Day Tour takes you to the Mamba Village Nairobi situated an estimated 13 kilometers away from Kenya’s capital city – off the Lang’ata – Karen road. This is a great place to see crocodiles, ostriches, giraffes, and even rabbits in Nairobi.

In the evening you will have dinner at the Bomas of Kenya with cultural dance entertainment. You will later be transferred to their hotel.

Overnight will be at Wildebeest eco Camp Nairobi.

 

Day 4: Nairobi City Tour & Nairobi National Park

Breakfast at Safari Park Hotel at KICC, You will have a KICC Rooftop tour. You will have a Nairobi City Tour. Nairobi is a city, financial capital, administrative capital, province and the capital of Kenya. The main languages spoken here are Swahili and English. There are many churches, mosques and temples where people of different faiths go to worship. Some of the places you will see are Parliament, mausoleum, Nairobi National museum, KICC among others.

You will be transferred to hotel for check in and lunch.

In the afternoon, our representative will drive you to Nairobi National park where you will have a morning game drive. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and the walking trails for hikers. You will also visit Animal Orphanage and Safari Walk.

Later you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 5: Fourteen Falls & Rapids Waterfalls

You will have breakfast at Tribe Hotel. After breakfast, you will departs in the morning from Nairobi and drive north some 45 km from the city centre to arrive at Blue Posts Hotel, established in 1908 as a stopover for white settlers who farmed and lived in central Kenya. Once at fourteen falls, a local guide will lead you down a rocky path to the near side base of the falls where you get a boat for crossing the river. Fourteen Falls derives the name from their 14 distinct waterfalls on the broad section of the famous Athi River.
The experienced boat guides use a long pole, guiding the boat on a leisurely ride downstream, back upstream and across the river to a rocky bank on the far side. The view of the falls from the boat is extraordinary! You may spend a couple of hours strolling around the rocks at the base of the Falls and enjoy the fresh air, breathtaking view and local flora.

Later you will drive to Rapids Waterfalls located at the Sagana Rapids Camp. It is a camp that offers a range of services including white water rafting, ziplining and camping. They are located in Sagana Town along Murang’a Road. Here you will have lunch and engage in various water activities.

In the evening our representative will transfer you to the hotel for check in and overnight.

Dinner and Overnight at Naromoru River Lodge

 

Day 6: Mt Kenya National Park & Tea Plantation

After breakfast, you will visit a tea farm around Mt Kenya, where you will have a chance to learn about tea planting and if lucky participate in tea picking. You will also have a village tour and see how the people in Mt, Kenya region live.

Later you will have game drives in Mt Kenya National Park where you will have clear views of the famous Mt. Kenya. Climbing to 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Africa. The scenery surrounding this designated World Heritage Site is breath-taking. It is pristine wilderness with lakes, tarns, glaciers, dense forest, mineral springs and a selection of rare and endangered species of animals, high altitude adapted plains game and unique montane and alpine vegetation. Visitors can enjoy mountain climbing, camping and caving with the mountain’s rugged glacier-clad peaks providing the perfect backdrop.

Day 7: Naro moru – Nyahururu – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Nairobi. You will have lunch at Thompson Falls Lodge where you will get a chance to view the Thompson Falls and have a photo session.

Dinner and Overnight will be at Wildebeest eco Camp Nairobi

 

Day 8: Nairobi – Departure

After Breakfast, depending on your international flight timings, our representative will take you to the airport to catch your flight back home. This will mark the end of your adventurous Kenya tour.
